By accessing or using OpenMat ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

To use certain features of OpenMat, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission
• Use the Platform for spam, phishing, or unauthorized advertising

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of the content you post on OpenMat. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating the Platform.

You are solely responsible for your content and represent that:

• You own or have the right to post such content
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content complies with these terms and applicable laws

Creators may offer premium content and subscriptions through the Platform. Creators are responsible for:

• Delivering the content and services described in their subscription tiers
• Complying with all applicable tax and financial regulations
• Setting accurate pricing and descriptions

Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Stripe). OpenMat is not responsible for payment processing errors or disputes between creators and subscribers. Platform fees and payment terms are disclosed at the time of transaction.

Gym owners may claim their gym listings on the Platform. By claiming a gym, you represent that you are authorized to manage the listing on behalf of the gym. We reserve the right to verify claims and revoke access if a claim is found to be fraudulent.

The Platform, its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by OpenMat and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The OpenMat name, logo, and branding are trademarks of OpenMat. You may not use these without our prior written consent.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Platform, including but not limited to:

• The accuracy or completeness of gym listings, event information, or user-generated content
• The suitability or safety of training partners matched through the Platform
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform

Training in martial arts carries inherent risks of injury. OpenMat is not responsible for any injuries or damages that occur during training activities coordinated through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OpenMat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
